About Edublox

Edublox helps learners READ, LEARN and ACHIEVE. Our multisensory brain-training programs enable them to overcome reading difficulties and other learning obstacles, assisting them to become life-long learners and empowering them to realize their highest educational goals.

Research has shown that weak underlying cognitive skills account for the majority of learning difficulties. Cognitive skills are mental skills that are used in the process of acquiring knowledge; the skills that "separate the good learners from the so-so learners." In essence, when cognitive skills are strong, learning is fast and easy. When cognitive skills are weak, learning becomes a struggle.

Specific brain-training exercises can strengthen these weaknesses leading to increased performance in reading, spelling, writing, math and learning. Even learners who are seriously dyslexic can be helped to overcome their problems completely.

The science of neuroplasticity has proven the brain’s ability to adapt and grow — to reorganize neural pathways and even form new neural connections. And thirty years' experience in practice and the combined effort of 50 years of intensive research ensure that our dynamic solutions meet the highest standards, ensuring that your child too, will be able to READ, LEARN and ACHIEVE.

READ

It has been 10 months since we first began Audiblox. Jeremie is 11 years old now and nearing the end of Grade 5. I just received his report card where he got a 75 in reading and a 72 in writing. This is phenomenal for a so-called dyslexic who used to average in the 40's! He recently told me that he no longer gets a stomach ache when he reads. He can now read for an unlimited time period whereas before he could only go for 5 minutes or so. He is improving all the time and his self-confidence is back up where it should be, he feels great! — Laura Trudel, Quebec, Canada.

Kennon and Kameron are 10 year old twins, who have had trouble with reading since 1st grade. Phonics just did not work. Last year they did not improve in their reading level all year. We started Audiblox in June and already in the first 9 weeks of school they have increased over 2 1/2 years. Because their focus is so much better we have less homework and what we have goes quickly. Their spelling has greatly improved and learning new words has become a game, not the dreaded chore it once was. In November the boys both got to call me from their reading class, because Kameron read at 4th grade level at 175 words a minute and answered all the questions correctly. Kennon read at 4th grade level, 166 words a minute, with all the questions answered correctly. So they will get bumped a reading level. — Nita Brist, Washington State.

At one time his reading was slow and halting. He would skip words and sentences and had difficulty understanding what he had just read. Reading used to be so much work for him that he didn't enjoy it and only read when he had to. Now he reads with ease and confidence. As a matter of fact, he enjoys reading so much that it isn't unusual to see him reading for pleasure now. The first time I heard him say he was "going to bed a little early so he could read before going to sleep" was music to my ears!! — Sheri Browning, Kuwait.

LEARN

We began using Audiblox (spelling program) 6 months ago, and the results have been just stunning. Within a month, she was able to remember how to spell a few words, and then just like a baby learning to talk, she began to experience a rapid snowball effect. A few months after we began using Audiblox, she said as we were driving around on errands —"Mom, I think I know how to spell library." And she did! And this was not an isolated moment, only the first. She is now almost an intuitive speller. Really, it's a miracle. Six months ago, her spelling tested at a Kindergarten level, and is now at a 6th grade level. This is just still so amazing to all of us who have struggled with her. — The Adams household, New Mexico.

Sean continues to go from strength to strength at school. At parents evening I was told that on his English assessment paper this year he had improved by 17 points over last year’s results. The average that would be expected would be a 5 point increase! He was the only child in the school to have improved so dramatically. So he is now average for class and age group not working a year behind as he was 6 months ago…. Apart from all that he is so much happier at school and more confident. He is also devouring books at a rapid rate and it is a joy to see. He is keen to discuss the books he has read to me and he obviously has understood what he has read. Six months ago reading a book was tortuous for him because even if he read it his reading was so faltering and full of mistakes that he couldn't comprehend the text. — Abi Stinson, UK.

While he previously failed to complete his exam papers within the allotted time, he was able to do it by the end of the year. Because he could now write faster and concentrate better he made fewer mistakes. Homework sessions do not take so long anymore and therefore he is less frustrated and rebellious about it. His spelling has also improved and he is much more positive and motivated to study. — Mrs. M. Waldeck, South Africa.

ACHIEVE

The most remarkable change though, is in himself as a person. He walks taller, he speaks with confidence, he participates in class discussions, and his hand is up first to answer every question I ask in class. He has become a strong class leader and I can count on him to carry out anything I need doing. — Mrs. Carol Smith, Teacher, Dalmondeor Primary School, South Africa.

We started it and religiously continued every morning for 18 months. By the time he started school that Fall he was already showing signs of improvement. I knew the program was working the day we were driving down the road and all of a sudden my son started reading the signs on the road and on the businesses. My other son Cole had done that in Kindergarten when he was learning to read, but Max never did. I was so excited because I knew that he was making the connections. We continued working with the program and Max continued to improve. When we stopped using the program Max was halfway through 6th grade. At that point he was reading at his grade level.

Now my son is a Freshman in High School. We just received his first semester report card and I am so excited to say that he received an "A" in both English and Math. I can't thank you enough for developing a program that truly stands up to your promises and offers hope to those who struggle. Teresa M., California.

The headmaster of the school called me in and told me that it would be advisable to place him in a special school and that he would not be able to go into mainstream high school…. I came to you for training and John and I started the program. Not only did he remain in high school, but he improved by twenty percent.

In November last year he received his second degree at Westminster University in London and was one of the top students. His first degree he completed in Athens at a private university called Akto. — Efstratia Agiakatsika, Greece.
